metaphorgeI have many friends that live or work in Mountain View, California. I fear that they are unaware of the menace that waits and watches them as they go about their business each day....

No one would have believed in the beginning of the twenty-first century that the city parks of Mountain View, California were being watched keenly and closely by intelligences more minuscule, primal, and hungrier than man's and even more fleetingly mortal than his own; that as the people of Mountain View busied themselves about their various concerns they were scrutinised and studied...:-P
