My subconscious just attempted to rewrite the opening paragraph of War of the Worlds.

No one would have believed in the beginning of the twenty-first century that the city parks of Mountain View, California were being watched keenly and closely by intelligences more minuscule, primal, and hungrier than man's and even more fleetingly mortal than his own; that as the people of Mountain View busied themselves about their various concerns they were scrutinised and studied...:-P

I don't drink coffee but I do drink tea :) And it has been my experiene that most coffee shops do indeed sell tea as well ;)
