I love it. I've just passed it along on [livejournal.com profile] antitheism.

Wow. That site is like a guide to being the most bored teenager in a 200 mile radius.

I'm a big fan of "SARCASM - Effective tool or deadly weapon?"

I very much hope that this idea spreads through the fundy community, in addition to fewer fundy's on-line, the biggest advantage fundy's coming down against blogs and social networking sites is that this prohibition would further alienate their children and teens, and that's always a very good thing indeed.

Because this article is extremely important, some may need to read it twice and use it as a stepping stone to further study on this subject.

My favorite line. Because, you know, really important things usually have a sign on them saying "THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT". Self-important things, on the other hand...

Waaaaaaait a minute.

I just clicked on that link and searched for that passage.

It ain't there.

Now I'm not calling you a liar. I checked Google, and that passage is sited everywhere.

Looks like the author of that article did some editing.

Does that mean he no longer believes what he wrote?

Probably not. But now he's being dishonest. He'd probably like to see that opinion made the law of the land -- and hell, he might even try to bring it to fruition -- but he's not going to be forthright with it.

Looks like the bastard just got driven underground -- for whatever that's worth.

Huh? I clicked through the link and I see it right there at the bottom.

Note that there is a paragraph omitted by [livejournal.com profile] metaphorge and marked with "..."

*investigates*

That's bizarre. Firefox (my regular browser) is consistently cutting the end of the article off, but MS Explorer lets me see the whole thing. (Maybe it's a browser-specific conspiracy)

Hm. So never mind my previous comment.

Some things in one’s life should simply remain private, information that should be kept to oneself...

cue Foley?

And yet, later on, it talks about being honest.

That does it. I am going to start actually posting in my MySpace blog to ensure thorough damnation. I am doublebooked in Hell already, but I think I will get a free Amityville Toaster if I can have just one more blog. Muahahaha.

There's a certain amount of irony that they're using a website to communicate this. They take pains to draw a line in the sand, but . . .

Ach, Teh Stoopid, it burns . . .

Replace this talk with the usual rhetoric of the Mullahs and the radical islamic banter... and you'd have a broken record before you.

Welcome to the Neo-Crusades.
