Whomever is doing background checks and spin control for the McCain campaign need to be fired.

But y'know... I'm perfectly ok with them not being fired, if you know what I mean haha.

I assume these would be the same people who have been rounding up people in Minneapolis/St. Paul who MIGHT show up to protest the GOP convention?

If this is in reference to the questionable maternity of the infant, I am not sure that it really matters to any of the conservative voters he really wants to keep (the ones that don't consider him sufficiently conservative... the ones who would eat up the idea of a mother protecting her daughter by pretending a child is hers rather than having an abortion despite the down syndrome).

I worry that more damage is being done to liberal cause by the huge deal and mudslinging going on in the leftish media.

I think the Shadowy Overlords are concerned that the Republicans do not seem to be getting the message that it's their turn on "minority duty" for a term or two. So they told McCain to go with Sarah Palin.

Outsider Looking In Here, but...
when I first read of her nomination, and read a little bit, my feeling was that this was a sensationalistic grab to take the spotlight off of Obama, the day after his party's convention. Then, I figured, a little further along a reason would come up, or a scandal, forcing her to withdraw. Then the Repblican's get one of their old white male standbys to join the race.

It's not really paranoia if it's someone else's government.....

Daughter, unmarried at 17, is five months pregnant, a child which had to have been conceived WHILE SHE WAS LIVING IN THE GOVERNOR'S MANSION.
