In the US, the list of states that are far too ludicrously right-wing to ever consider living in is impressively large and Michigan is most definitely on that list. If it weren't for portions of the northeast and the west coast, I'm guessing that this list would include all 50 states and all sensible people would leave this benighted nation. For now, there are still a few states that one can take refuge in.
