Mark Z. Danielewski Day

tyrsalvia and I are going to be catching Mark Z. Danielewski this afternoon at a signing for his new novel, Only Revolutions, this afternoon at M is for Mystery in San Mateo at 2:00 pm.

Yes, I will finally have my copy of House of Leaves (which is, along with Umberto Eco's Foucault's Pendulum, my favorite novel) signed.

More than likely, we'll also catch his reading tonight at 7:00 at Booksmith in the Haight.

I was looking at Only Revolutions in the library the other day.

It suddenly occurred that people looking at me might have thought I was insane, because I kept flipping the thing over and opening-and-closing it.:-)

I'm guessing you're supposed to go with the earliest dates first, then turn the book over and head the other way.

Or should I get the user's manual to Only Revolutions?

I haven't read House of Leaves, but I understand it's good.

*sigh* No events in Atlanta (or nearby) on his tour. I'd love to have my copy of House of Leaves signed, as well. :(
